Questionnaire Friday Fieldwork

On Friday the fieldwork will require you to find out how local businesses use the internet to support their businesses. After a short introduction by yourselves to explain that you are studying Business as part of a BTEC qualification you will then ask them some direct questions.
  1. What kind of online presence does their business have and what impact does it have on sales?
  2. How do they maintain and update their online presences?
  3. What are the operational risks to operating online?
  4. What advice would they give to a new business in terms of having an online presence?
  5. How will the increase of online activities affect the high street?
These questions can be adapted.

Using the evidence that you have gathered throughout this unit write a report for the unit bringing together all the areas you have covered. The report should be structured into PETER paragraphs and you should use examples from your research/ web designs. Please write a paragraph for each of the questions. You may use your textbook to support your report but please do not copy chunks from there.

5.       What are the most important features of a website to ensure businesses successfully meets their aims and objectives?

7.       What are the drawbacks and, ultimately a warning to business of an increase in business online?
